Neil Tonks, Tumbler-in-Chief, has worked hard to secure access to a private block of land on which they can develop mountain bike trails near Orewa. He’s already put in 2 ½ years of effort getting the necessary permissions, building the relationships and now starting to build trail.
The project has plenty of (willing) child labour from a local school where Neil teaches but needs some adults to assist.
Access to the area is not a given, so you need to dig to ride.
